After years of illness and weight gain and reading about the ketogenic diet I found that people were using a ketogenic diet most often to lose weight, but it also helped them to manage certain medical conditions, like epilepsy, too. It also was showing that it may help people with heart disease, certain brain diseases, and even acne, even though there needs to be more research in those areas I decided I fitted into many of the health categories that were helping so many people. I discussed this with my medical team and after getting the all-clear and support I changed my lifestyle to Keto.
I have now been living a Keto lifestyle since 1995, have lost 45 kg and feel amazing, I went and qualifies as a Keto coach and our online store Keto WA was born in Nov 2020.
While we were researching, we found that good quality Keto products were not available in many supermarkets, so with this in mind, we went about building an all Australian store with quality products.
We searched for local products within Australia that we could stock online to cater for the Keto lifestyle. Once we realised the amount of amazing local products that we had KETO WA was born. Yes, it was during covid a big risk but we wanted to help support Australian and WA businesses during the pandemic.
We believed we had enough to build a great store. Each product that is in our store is a nutritional delicious keto-compliant product using the best of Australian products available. In our survey that we conducted it was evident that people were in favour of having more Australian products available.
We personally felt many Keto sites were offering too many overseas products at unaffordable prices so we wanted to ensure our prices were affordable and only good quality ingredients. Our site is not overloaded with similar products, and our pricing was to be affordable. KETO WA ONLY stocks Australian products and or Made in Australia.
The site has been received well in WA due to long delays in getting orders to the state from other stores. We have a national delivery service and local pickup option at checkout.
